Creepy Candlelight Crawlers

Mini pumpkins become the masterpiece of your Halloween decorative table with the help of tealights and pipe cleaners. These creepily cute crawlers are super simple (and cheap!) to create and add character to your Halloween decor. Here’s how:

STEP 1

First, you’ll need several mini pumpkins or gourds. The sizes are completely up to you but I find the plumper, stouter versions work best. You’ll also need one tealight per pumpkin and pipe cleaners for the legs!

STEP 2

Start by carving off the top of the mini pumpkin. Scoop out just enough seeds to ensure the tealight fits inside. Eyes are optional but they add some personality!

STEP 3

Finally, cut four pipe cleaners in half. Bend the eight segments several times to mimic spider legs. Attach with a glue gun and you’re done!
