Finally! Bay Area SoulCycle fans can rejoice that the immensely popular spin class will open two new locations in Northern California. The indoor cycling workout will open in Palo Alto on November 22, 2013 at Stanford Shopping Center. The new 2,800 square foot location contains a 50-bike studio, men’s and women’s locker and shower rooms, a custom SoulCycle Listening Bar, and their signature Polaroid wall.
San Francisco residents can quit taking the ferry to SoulCycle’s Larkspur location (although the class is totally worth a trip across the bay) and enjoy a brand-new 54-bike studio located at 2095 Union Street. Mark your calendars: the Union Street location will open November 16th, 2013 complete with full-service locker rooms and showers.
Not a SoulCycle convert yet? Trust us when we say that this is a class you need to try. Since the studio’s launch in New York City by Elizabeth Cutler and Julie Rice, SoulCycle has opened 20+ studios and established itself as the leading branded studio cycling operator. Riders get an intense 45-minute spin workout complete with upper body toning and core exercises. Every instructor is upbeat, high energy, and the thumping playlist cannot be beat. Setting themselves apart from a typical spin class at your gym – each studio dims the lights and riders focus on the “energy of the pack” with rhythm rides. Get thee to a SoulCycle class!
